With a scenic view, a beautiful picnic area, a large creative playground, a farm animal corral and free hayrides, a visit to Andrews’ Scenic Acres is a pleasurable family occasion. As a local destination, we have been enjoying community visitors since 1980. For over 37 years our number one attraction has been boarding the tractor drawn hay wagon, also known as the “Berry Bus”, and heading out to the pick-your-own fields.
Some of our most popular crops include rhubarb, strawberries, red and black raspberries, blueberries, and super sweet corn. Let’s also not forget about our amber raspberries, gooseberries and red and black currants. If you’re interested in something other than pick-your-own fruit, we have a beautiful selection of dahlias, gladiolas, and sunflowers available throughout the season. Once the fall season comes around, not only do we have pick-your-own large pumpkins, squash and gourds, but also a variety of fun filled attractions such as the haunted forest and straw mountain. All of our pick-our-own crops are also ready picked and available for your convenience in our farm market.
After a long day of picking you might want to cool down with a cone of our ice cream or frozen yogurt that is mixed with our farm fresh berries. Our famous BBQ also offers beef hotdogs, Oktoberfest sausages and veggie burgers on weekends. Starting late July and early August, we have the added option of hot super sweet buttered corn on the cob.
You may want to checkout some of our local treats inside of our on-site farmers market. We have, for example: maple syrup, jams and jellies and honey; as well as freshly baked pies, cookies and tarts. If you can’t make it out to the farm, be sure to check us out at the Downtown Milton Farmers Market every Saturday morning.
In 1999, our family opened the Scotch Block Winery where we make our own on-site fruit wines. We have over 25 different award winning fruit and grape wines. To date we have been awarded over 75 national fruit wine medals. If you’re visiting the farm maybe stop by for a free sample.
